Increo to 2025: Bigger, Better and a Little Different
For over 20 years, we have helped our clients challenge, grow and take stronger positions. At the same time, we are in many ways in the starting pit. Here our board member Bente Sollid Storehaug presents Increo's strategy up to 2025!
In the fall of 2021, Increo kicked off a comprehensive strategy process, a process I was pleased to facilitate. The questions were who are we going to be, where we want to be -- and how we're going to get there.
Those pieces are now starting to fall into place and we are ready to tell the world.
No longer a digital agency
In recent years, Increo has seen a growing need for digital transformation, simplification and intelligent solutions. It is a need that we should and must meet with broader expertise. This means that we are going to invest even more strongly in business understanding and advisory in the years to come.
In other words, we are moving away from being a “digital agency” to becoming a design and technology partner for digital services.
The acquisition of the Design Office Uredd was the first direct response to this new strategy. We gained more expertise and greater muscle in an area central to our new direction. Increo now has all the prerequisites to be able to deliver world-class digital service innovation.
By that, we mean helping our customers adopt completely new business models — or challenge existing ones. We will help them develop, innovate and digitize, and together create products and services that people love to use. As when we digitized fishing car or laid Airbnb for salmon fishing.
An environment at the forefront
To achieve that, we need to be even better at thinking about innovation, process and design. It requires the best heads. Therefore, we will continue to develop a culture and work environment that attracts the brightest.
The main strategy will still be profitable growth and we are going to scout for other environments that fit our new profile. Because if we are to deliver world-class performance, we need even more muscle. We expect to have twice as many good employees by 2025.
Our area
Working with digital service innovation has never been more exciting. The next few years are going to be more challenging and that will require holistic deliverables from user experience to technology development.
But with Uredd on the team, we have gathered all this expertise under one roof. We can say with our hands on our hearts that Increo has become one of Norway's leaders in this area.
And over the next few years we're going to make it to our area.
